Inquiry can produce extraordinary results and be used by individuals or teams in any organization and at any level

Using Inquiry to systematically address the issues that are perceived as getting in the way of success in businesses and organizations clears perceptional obstacles in and of themselves, and allows business teams to see the situation in a way in which clarity, understanding and ownership manifest.

Limiting narratives within businesses and organizations separate leaders from their teams and separate teams from the organization. They keep us from connecting with the clarity and openness necessary to see all possibilities in front of us. As facilitators of The Work, we will discover how to apply The Work in business and organizational settings in ways that will allow our clients see obstacles in new ways, leading to deep connection, understanding and impact. 

About the Presenter

Dr. Pedro Cortina is the managing partner at the Innerland Institute. An author, speaker, counselor, coach, facilitator, trainer, transformation specialist and leadership consultant with more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles that include business, education, consulting and counseling. He is the author of Curflexion: Living the Infinite Space of Being, a guide for moving away from our underlying human experience of separation and unfulfillment.

Pedro holds bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in philosophy and economics, education, and leadership from Universidad Iberoamericana, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Calgary respectively. He teaches executive MBA students in the areas of leadership, strategy and human resources. He is a certified client counselor by the APPA in New York, a graduate from the facilitator program from the Institute for The Work in Ojai, California, a Certified Business Solutions Provider from One Smart World, and a graduate from the Oxford Finance Program at the University of Oxford. Additionally, throughout his life, he has fully immersed in several eastern transformational traditions such as Mahamudra, Dzogchen, and Advaita.

Session 1 

Part 1:  Making a Case for The Work in Business

In this section, we will explore our stories and limiting beliefs when it comes to the Work and it’s use within business environments. We will explore why and how The Work is relevant in business today.

Part 2:  Language and Framework

We will explore how to adapt TW to business environments and will address the important language differences. We will also learn about the structure of the models that are successfully used within business consulting models.

Part 3: Innerland’s Living Inventories

We will share Innerland’s business inquiry model: “Living Inventories” © (LI). This model is a process of inner transformation at the individual, team, and organizational level. LI centers on the development and identification of “Obstacle Inventories” © that are further transformed into “Living Opportunity Inventories” © resulting in clear plans and specific strategies for business outcomes.

Session 2 

Part 4: Developing Your Own Model & Style

Understanding intellectual property and proprietary content is crucial in business consulting.  What ideas or materials can we use?  How much?  When? This understanding will allow us to move forward and create our own proprietary content framework for the delivery of The Work in Business.

Part 5:  Hands On:  Doing The Work in Business and Organizations 

What do sessions look like? Levels of training sessions, individual sessions, specialized team sessions and large-scale organizational sessions. Working with executive teams, working with middle management, and working with service level teams and employees.

Part 6: Marketing, Proposals, Pricing and Closing

How do I sell The Work to businesses? What is the process? How does networking work? How do I use LinkedIn and Facebook? From personal client to business client. How to make a proposal? How to price your services for business? How to settle and close a consulting engagement?

Registration, Delivery & Forum

We will be limiting the number of participants.
The workshop will be delivered via two online sessions on a live video meeting format. 
All participants should have access to a computer with Internet and a camera.
A private online forum will be set for participants to share ideas, questions and insights.
Participants will be able to maintain membership in the forum after the workshop.
